Should The Club Have A Code of Conduct?

By Alan Telford

I recently attended a course on child protection run by Aberdeenshire Council. One of the subjects which came up was codes of conduct for club members.

This was raised at a recent comittee meeting and proved to be a very conterversial subject. Some people thought it was a good idea, others saw it as part of the onslaught of bureaucracy that is engulfing society.

I’d be interested to hear comments from club members, should we have a code of conduct and if so what should it contain? Please use this posting to share your views….
